“We’re working for the future of Nigeria. In the next 10 years, we are going to be one of the best universities in Africa, especially in theoretical and practical education. The management of the university would strive to continually improve its offerings in line with best educational practices,” the VC was quoted as saying in a statement.
The statement, which was signed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Melih Erkan, added that the university would start three new courses – Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Medicine  in September.
Erkan added, “After a recently conducted accreditation exercise carried out by the NUC on the facilities in the college of medicine at the Nigerian Turkish Nile University, the NUC has expressly given accreditation for the college of medicine to begin to admit students.
