Trump, on the cusp of a shock victory in his brutal White House showdown
with Hillary Clinton, was to address his supporters in New York early
Wednesday.
Minutes earlier, Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta said
the election was still too close to call, and that the Democrat would
not speak in the coming hours, as a handful of key US states were still
undecided.
Samuel Awoyinfa, Abeokuta The Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi, has said the state assembly will partner with the executive arm to enact laws to check the excesses of land grabbers, kidnappers, armed robbers and other miscreants. He said this in response to a request made by the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Olumide Ayeni, for the need to harmonise laws which bordered on land grabbing, kidnapping, armed robbery and other emerging crime in the state. The Speaker who was represented by his deputy, Olakunle Oluomo, said the state was witnessing rapid development which called for the enhanced security to protect lives and property.
